Alisha is a dedicated and caring administrator with over 20 years of experience. Alisha takes pride in her diverse background and is well versed in all aspects of practice management, from practice insurance and payroll to bookkeeping and human relations. Alisha values each member of Periodontal Associates and works tirelessly with the doctors to maintain a positive environment for all employees and patients.

Insurance Coordinator
In 1999, Paul began his career in billing and insurance. He is also our IT administrator. Paul strives to help patients maximize their dental benefits.

Michelle began her journey in 2005. She has provided a gentle touch and dental care education to help her patients have beautiful smiles.

Cynthia joined the dental field in 2016. As a treatment coordinator, her goal is to help patients through every step of the treatment process. She enjoys the interactions she has with each individual patient.

Gabrielle recently moved to Colorado with her husband and their young daughter. She is excited to explore the state and settle into the community. Gabrielle looks forward to embracing all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer alongside her family and dog, Burno.

Patient Care Coordinator
Lisa is also another seasoned veteran in the dental field with over 30 years of experience as an administrator and a care coordinator. As a care coordinator, her goal is to help patients through every step of the treatment process. She will make sure the treatment plans our patients choose works for them as best as possible.
Kim
Chief Operating Officer
Kim is an amazing patient advocate and a seamless administrator. Kim has over 25 years of patient care and practice management experience in multiple fields of dentistry. She has been vital in the growth of our practice since Dr. Thousand first started many years ago. She has been vital in helping us grow to where we are now. Kim works hard to provide a positive environment for our patients and team members. When she is not in the office, she can be found gardening with her husband or spending time with her sons and grandkids.
Elise
Surgical Assistant
Elise began her career in dentistry in 2022’s. Elise enjoys assisting with surgeries and plays a large role in coordination of the surgical team and sterilization of our instrument supply. She is extremely good with our kiddos and is great at making our patients feel comfortable even through the toughest surgeries.
Kathleen
Surgical Assistant
Kathleen’s assisting career has been involved in surgery from the beginning. She has worked for multiple surgical specialties and has a vast knowledge of how to assist our surgeons. Originally from New York, we are lucky to have her as part of the team and for her to now call Colorado her home. Not only does she assist in surgery, but she is also responsible for the majority of our pre- and post-operative care organization and making sure patients have all the information they need to provide successful surgical outcomes.

Our Stellar Hygienist
Melody will make you feel warm and welcome and will provide you with one of the best periodontal maintenances you will ever receive. She has enjoyed making a difference in her patients’ lives through dental hygiene and assisting with their dental goals since the early 1990’s. When she is not in the office, she is likely spending time with her wonderfully large family.
